I’m still a bit of a bidet newbie, however I was concerned about not having hot water to plumb in, and didn’t love the idea of being shot at with cold water.I planned to just hook it up to water for now, and then run a dedicated circuit to it, however it won’t function on water pressure alone. It needs electricity to work any of the functions.It also needs you to sit on it. So if you want to test it, you have to touch the seat. There were some stickers that I removed, and that might be their purpose, during testing - however if it doesn’t seem to work, that’s perhaps where you’re at.I think because of the extra space at the back, the cat’s found a new place to jump… so that was interesting. Also, as we do have a toilet a little on the smaller side. And, I - as a man, with man parts, find I have a little less room up front - and also when aiming standing up, my target is now a bit smaller at the back. However, some of that is part of having an older toilet (although I just fit in the dimensions). Despite this and being pushed all the way back the lid and seat stay up perfectly and without worry.I do find the seat can move - although it doesn’t do it on its own. It’s a two piece seat, so you mount the mounting plate, and then you can remove it as needed for cleaning, or whatnot, simply by pushing a mechanical button on the side and pulling out. It’s times like this that I find it sliding - including attaching the two. And it doesn’t matter how tight I make the screws. However, during use it hasn’t moved at all.I was also happy it came with the proper valve for my toilet, which attaches by the tank. I shut off the water valve, flushed a bunch and less than a cup came out of the tank. 5 minutes later everything was hooked up with no leaks.As far as the bidet itself, there is a reason it is so expensive… more expensive than some toilets. I hadn’t imagined a toilet seat could have so many functions, like the heated water, the dryer, the heated seat, and the soft close on both the lid and seat…. And who could forget the light inside the toilet.It works out well in our setup that the controls are on the right side, tucked against a wall.

My wife used to think I had a problem with sitting too long on the toilet... NOW i have that problem... lol.Theres nothing better than getting onto a nice warm seat, or getting onto the seat and having it warm up.The water warms up literally instantly... Like it can go from ice cold to nice and warm in 1 second, not sure how they do it but its quick so theres no need to wait for the seat to warm up.It was very simple to setup bit the downside is I have this long thick white cable that im unable to hide with how my bathroom is setup and where my plugs are.With the nice warm water, it does a good job at spraying in the proper place and with real good pressure. You can even turn the water temperature and seat temperature up or down which is handy.Honestly, this is such a creature comfort, I feel like a a peasant on every other toilet...
